I had the cats and flash done. I can’t tell a bit of difference in performance. If anything, there’s a bit more crackle and pop on throttle lift. There is an odor for a few hundred miles as the labels burn off the new cats.


They left them on??

That happened to me when I got mine brand new at the end of 2015 (MY16).

It took me forever to get rid of it and it was horrible!

They left them on??

That happened to me when I got mine brand new at the end of 2015 (MY16).

It took me forever to get rid of it and it was horrible!
Yeah, they left them on. Seems I’ve read of others with the same complaint. Dodge must have switched to less offensive labels. It was just a burnt paper smell that diminished with each drive.

Some of the smell may be oil residue that's on the pipes, like any new exhaust.

They often use a super adhesive that you cant pull off without the label ripping and making a multi-piece mess. Stupid if you ask me.

Its like having a brand new car again, that new burn off smell :)
