Remove the coolant reservoir and intercooler reservoir. Once the coolant reservoir and lines are out of the way, it's much easier... or something like that.

Also, looks like he popped out the fuse block and moved it.

This is sage advice and I think it would help, immensely.

The fuse box makes the fronts easier on that side. Just so you can move it around a little. Shows how much I tried to forget.🤣
The intercooler bottle I thought was a given. I should have mentioned that and the air box.😉🤔

The exact right tool would be gas and a match.🤣🤣
It's not so much needing tools as much as needing room. Once the coil pops off the plugs . You are up maybe an inch out of the hole with 4 inches of tube still in. The coil is now up against some F'ing tube or some crap. So you have to bend them out so the tubes make a U-turn before they are free.
The 2 rear coils on the right (passenger side) I found it easier to fold them out forward do to lack of space and hands that did want to look like they lost a battle in a food processor.

Would it be beneficial to remove the hood?
If you grab 2 helpers, its a quick job.
Throw a couple towels on the roof, mark the hinge placement on the hood with a marker, 1 person on each side to hold it, person 3 undoes the bolts, and place the hood upside on the cars roof. I have frequently removed the hood of cars and trucks, makes most jobs so much easier.

Oh no I won. Fucking dodge heat taped it in. Clips are in the body, have to go into fender well.
