Everyone wants to blame Tim K and Dodge but I dont think its that simple. They are easy targets but IMO they didnt do any of what you accuse them of on their own. FCA was bought out by a woke Euro company who is all in on eliminating fossil fuels and sacrificing everything we enjoy on the alter of politicial correctness and climate change. You want someone to blame for the shitshow you are seeing now, blame Stellantis (and looney tunes CARB/EPA). Stellantis disbanded SRT, they gave us 7 sticker packages, CARB/EPA are forcing no ICE past 2035, they levy fines for failing MPG targets that pay for the competitions R&D. I think Tim and Dodge are just trying to make the best of the shit sandwitch they are forced to eat

At least he had the balls to give them advise. Obviously they had a clear predefined set agenda and wanted someone to be the advocate that they thought would usher in the new platform to the new target base. If it doesn’t go as well as they expect. I would love to see them sell off the brand back to homeland, reassemble SRT team. I know Alice in Wonderland and everyone lived happily ever after.
I Don’t ever expect it to happen. I would like to point out this sort of happened with Harley in early 80s when Willy G and some of the board bought back Harley from AMF Within 2 years quality was back along with waiting lines for several years. 40 years later I would say AMF duuuuun F ed up a iconic product and it’s been pretty damn sweet ride For HD. Top Fortune 500 company’s would kill for that bar and shield HD worldwide product/ recognition.
