You collect ladders? That must be an unusual hobby.

Damn. Okay you want to know?

Well the extension ladder is required as you know. If a guy wants on his roof, what else when a front end loader or man lift is not handy?:ROFLMAO:.

I got a light fixture in my two story entryway that the tall wood ladder is required for. Don’t like it, but not going to rent scaffold 1-2x per year to clean its assine glass.

That wonderful light orange one then becomes the easy one to use when we are not on the “step stools”. That combo of storage for them has been pondered for years and determined to be optimum.[thankyou]

Ha, any other questions Jimmy?

Oh nearly forgot! The orange ladder also holds the Race Ramps box from falling.

I don't feel sorry for you, as we have a smoke detector by the entry door that's about 20 feet up.

And I can't get any of the cranes or loaders inside the house.

I hate getting it out. The light needs cleaned so bad right now I won’t even shoot a picture.

New battery, as my oem gave me the click of death after I finished removing and replacing my oem brake fluid. Failure on that front as peddle has lots of travel, then they grab. Guess I’ll be bleeding them again, which sucks! At least it starts now.

Put on the Track Hawk exhaust tips after 2 years in the box lol. Then took her out for a blast across the bridge and a stop and go on the return direction. Not bad for the first street 1/4 run in a while on cold February roads.

I think it’s time to put the Whipple back on and see if I can break into the 4.9x 60-130 area. Maybe the windshield wipers and cowl too lol 😂

Put air in the tires and went for a lap. It was 52 here and absolutely no traction. Sucks when it's chilly out. 😕

Yep. As you know this oil was in the car for a few 290 degree sessions, another cat converter fail, then for the hell of it, went to BIR on a day it reached 100 degrees air temp. Attempted laps with new converters but stopped with reaching high temps on the track again. Then we fixed it and cooled it off forever. The oil is Mobil 1. I think this should give us good feelings about the durability of that engine and also the alternative oil used.

She has a fresh load of the recommended Pennzoil in it for the beginning of the season. Looking forward to a clean weekend at Road America in May, then I’ll send this load into them for what should be an excellent analysis.

Nice!! THANKS for posting. I’m waiting on an analysis. I just sent in recently myself and waiting on the results. I assume the 800 mile oil change was your break in oil on rebuilt engine? Or was that 4000 miles on the engine total with 800 on the oil?

Any of you guys running magnetic oil pan and rear end drain plugs? I have for years. I also run magnets on my oil filters.

So have to change that summary after looking close at my records.

The 800 mile (first analysis) was the third change on the new engine. Not good looking, huh?? I did not like it.

1st was at 484 miles early in its life. Good break-in.

2nd after 3400 miles total (2900 miles) on the street the balance of 2021. Enjoyed it.

3rd after another 800 miles (first analysis) last June after easy spring running and then RA. -another failed cat, and hit limp mode when it sensed the failure. So I wanted to see what this engine looked like after blowing several cats, running out of gas once on the track and probably doing some lean running, unknown to me, but holding itself together.

Then! I filled it with the Mobil that I got tired of looking at on my shelf and went to BIR on the hot day in July (no tune yet and with the new cats). Did not allow it to stay at 290, let it cool to 250-270, then ripped on it again. Did that for 2-3 sessions that day before driving it home and calling Jon and ripping the cats out!

Then @Jon-MooredPerformanceLLC fixed it, did the Ozark’s track (first track tests- it ran like a beast and actually scared me) and that glorious cool test day in October at BIR where it waxed everything that showed up on the big straight, hitting 170 mph max several times. That is when we loaded in a bit more aggressive top end after we got comfy. We just may just add a bit more and some extra go juice for RA this spring. I need to see if it can get enough traction to justify it.:p

So the current results did not contain any real extended hot operating time. But did contain some real good running on a tune in it finally. You guys should be able to bust on these engines large for ten seconds at a time! Enjoy.
