Drove car to swap meet in town yesterday. Did a couple of smoky tire evaporation shows on the way home (I’m 30 miles out in the country). Washed ‘er up. Today, added fuel stabilizer, changed oil, parked in corner with cover. Cold days coming.

Yeah but did you get to 131 MPH? :p

Repaired the pinch weld do to the damage done jacking like a rabbit at the track to put front skinnies on. Then added some lift pads as I don't want to have to deal with the sound of metal breaking/bending ever again while on a jack and having a mini heart attack because of the pops.

Straightened out the pinch weld, it was all fuckered...

Should have done this right away when I got the car but now it's good to go. No problems at the track anymore and won't have problems at the house either. best part, can be used with jackstands now as the load is distributed.
When I bought my Hellcat from John he had the zl1 jack pads he had not installed and I told him I wanted them and I had looked at the before for the Daytona. I jack my car up a lot and those are a must have. I have low profile jacks but was still a pain trying to get it under the car to the frame. So much easier!

And give up being in the low 60s with 17% humidity, under perfectly blue skies??

Thanks, but no thanks, Hickster. You can keep your semi-aquatic living conditions, alligators, hurricanes, and blue hairs. Even if it has cooled down to only 85 there.

Installed Injector Dynamic 1050X injectors on my hellcat. Wrote a baby tune to just get the idle under control. Right now the car feels as if the power comes in earlier. Seems reasonable as the injector doesn’t have to open as wide or ramp up with power to dispens as much fuel. Looking forward to a track day so I can see the WOT data and adjust accordingly.

The journey to understand the PCM, a tune and a log of the final fuel adjustments can be found here: https://www.hellcatforum.org/thread...r-tuning-for-a-2015-hellcat.7302/#post-129929

Tonight was a fun night. Rode the striggle bus on this one. Partial Boost A Pump and AAD boost reference adapter.

260DBD47-63B3-4534-A72D-F13094DC3C6E.jpeg
Ran through the left side of the undercarriage and comes to the top of the engine bay where the fuel lines do (use their heat shield).

Routed to the driver side and zip tied behind the cross member/wiper mounts. On the driver side mounted the reference switch on a line pretty snugly. There have been issues with the reference switch being on the supercharger.
6D80C2E7-F7BF-4A0D-B963-96D6E34AB22A.jpeg
And finally the boost reference adapter
BBF71D8D-AF7C-4DCF-BCAB-C74344A9A33B.jpeg
So I say struggle bus because I'm missing the following pieces of information.

1.) What is the thread pitch for the boost reference adapter? I want to head to the hardware store and get the right fitting... I had a thread feeler gauge and the closest I could get was 27 NPT but I don't think that is it. I went to AAD'S website for the product and couldn't find an answer.\

2.) The instructions for the BAP have me all fucked up in the head. It says pull fuse 21 but fuse 21 on a 2015 Hellcat is a spare. Had the notion of rewiring the PDC and said no to that... The 26th fuse is the 30A fuse but it is low profile and cannot utilize the square 40 amp one they sent.

Guess I'll reach out to HHP as they are my crack... I mean parts suppliers :) Hope to wrap this up and get my ass to Cecil on Saturday for some rippems!

Duuude... what ARE you doing?

...or trying to do?

LOL

Bob
The KB instructions say to remove fuse 21 for the car. On my hellcat 21 is a spare. Fuse 26 is the fuel pump. Unfortunately it is a 30AMP low profile mini fuse. I searched for four hours and at multiple shops for a 40amp low profile mini fuse. No one carries one. KB doesn't supply one and HHP recommended Napa. Napa didn't have shit... This is me modifying the fuse that KB sent me to use the low profile slot, fuse 26.

Sir (said with the most respect I can find at the moment), might it be possible that you've gone down a rabbit hole???

It just seems unlikely that the scenario you've described wouldn't have been dealt with in a more fluid, viable way by those supplying you components? (KB) Any one of those constraints you rattled off, if either a variable, or misread, could send you down a unnecessary path?

An alternate fuse location option for example? (I'm guessing here, not being directly exposed to what you're doing)

I do like the mentality of overcoming the problem however!!! ;)

It just seems so... ...painful...
