Proven scientific fact..good for .0065 in the quarter...has to do with ultra violet rays and it's drag coefficient...now shut up..and TRUST THE SCIENCE

I don't really know what to say other than that I'm grateful. For anyone following my saga found in the thread "hellcat down" this day has been about 2 years, 2 engines, and a transmission in the making. It's been a very rough road personally and financially with this car and seeing it all come together finally with two of my original track friends, Rich and Stan made me appreciate that it's really in the folks you meet. Special thanks to Jon Moored on the keys, Dave Starne's for the performance trans rebuild and Jim Schmittinger for building me a kickass 426.

There's a lot left in the 60 foot, I look forward to trying to wring all that I can out of the launch as I get more seat time. But, for now, I'm extremely happy to finally have achieved what I originally set out for and most importantly, to have driven the hellcat home on its own power without issue after a track day for the first time since 2023.

Ps @Linda's Hell Cat I need a 9 second banner please

Happy to hear it was nothing major in the engine! Very interested to see pic's of the carnage.
Those things will melt and can become a problem. This SOB took down my SC then the rest of the engine on the road course. 2019 RE. I do not use CATS off road any longer.

I don't recall exactly, do these look anything like your cats that shyt on themselves???
I pasted that pic above. That looks like it was beginning to plug up. Hell mine was blown apart. But it was being exercised big time the day before when most of that happened I imagine. The day b4 was a great day and I did run the shit out of it and enjoyed it. It failed in the first session on Sunday, for the first time ever I was not running the chiller in Track Mode because it was in Street Mode or whatever nothing is, due to some surface moisture in a couple of areas. I was cheating a bit just in case I needed some help with TC. The SC must have heated up and busted itself up. Shit happens at about 6000 RPM high up in 6th gear.:p

BUT! It took them three weeks to agree etc. they covered it! Complete engine including a replacement oil cooler of course. Not modified, not racing, I even gave the dealer access to the video I always shoot on the tracks with all real time engine info when it failed. But damn, if any times are recorded, any awards are given any comparison of times other than a conversation with your buddy, and it is racing and no deal.

I aligned it. After lowering the rear camber was close enough but the toe needed adjustment. On the front the toe also was off but the dip-shit at the dealer changed the left front. So I have it where I think it goes. Now I will bring it to someone who I trust with a fancy machine to check my toe both rear and front. Good looking new red Eibach springs with some old AAD hardware..

I used the flood clear procedure for the first time to get oil to the top end without starting

I used that too when I took my car out for the first time this spring. Gave it a few full crank cycles until I saw 90+ PSI oil pressure and fired it up. The motor probably appreciates it.

My car is a bit “custom” so was worried I’d drive through my toolbox 🤣

90??? That new engine is building some pressure! Stock pump, aftermarket, or stock pump that’s shimmed?

Oh ya, stock oil pump. Jim does something to it but won't give away his secret. My guess is some kind of shimming but I'm not sure. My hot oil pressure is generally somewhere in the low to mid 80's. Sometimes dipping to the mid/low 70's but only at idle.
