I played around with trying to bleed boost in my tune and never could figure it out. The couple of tables that are obviously used for that purpose did not have the intended effect.

Choices, Choices, Choice...

Just found out I can do a 2.85 if I run the Sunoco GT 260 on the street and race fuel for the HO tune...

Boost bleed doesn't always work as intended...nor does it work reliably on every CAL. When trying to program boost by key...sometimes it won't even go into PE on the black key. That's obviously a problem.

Whoever figures it out and can make it work platform wide...will make a TON of money.

Depending on CAL file...HP Tuners has several things not mapped/labeled correctly or not labeled at all. This was the major holdup in getting flex working on my 18.

This is one feature we all would like to see.

I think Barth/AJ seem to have flex and HO playing nice together...pair it with bleed and I'm sold.

Correct - on an RE or Demon, a 2.85 or smaller kills using pump 93 on the street...
We're finishing up mine with the 2.85 and everything seems to be perfectly fine. Some final street tuning is all that's left. We've seen an increase of 113/138 on 93 in hot, humid Texas air. We're not see a problem with the 2.85 at this time. Would I hot lap it? No but I wouldn't do that with my stock cars in this Texas air. Once we finalize everything I'll chime back in with some final results.

I'm curious as well. I wonder when/where the lack of timing and higher boost results in lower gains compared to more timing less boost.

I'll know more when I pick her up.

At the end of this year, I am seriously thinking I will switch to E85. There are finally enough stations close to me that have it. If I do, I will likely use this 3.17 to kick the boost up a couple of pounds. I already have a +10% lower ATI and the larger Demon supercharger.
