No this is not an ad for the lizard.

Got my annual renewal for the fleet, 17 Tacoma, 16 Hellcat and 07 FJ Cruiser, $3,014.87

I was offered a $386.41 discount if I pay for the year in advance. $2,648.46

I used my Visa with cash back for another 2% $52.97

Net insurance cost for the year on 3 vehicles $2,595.49

Savings $419.38‬

Anyone else prepaying?

Using cash back or mileage credit card for payments?

I trust you shop for insurance, including adding your home for additional discount to your multi-vehicles.

Yes, I pay my insurance on a Cash Back Card, along with many, many other monthly expenses. The Cash Back adds up :)

I often times opt for Gift Cards where I shop because I get more $$ value than a check or cash. Think about redeeming for Gift Cards....

Best!

How old are you? I saved a bucket load by bundling home n auto and going with AARP. They shop you around if you're over 50.
Three vehicles here for $2187, not prepaid. Prob save another $175ish to prepay. Clean record, no tickets.

I put my Challenger with Hagerty and it dropped to about 1/3 of what it was as my daily driver with my Primary insurance carrier. My agent has asked me several times if I would like to go with one of those plans with the tattletale in my vehicles. I politely declined for the reason you mentioned above.

AARP sux in PA. They are charging my 79 yr old mother $2400/yr for an 18 Honda Accord LX. She drives less than 5000 miles a year, has zero accidents in 10+ years and a 800+ Credit score. I got her a quote from State Farm for $1100/year for the same coverage And she wont switch because she thinks its the best insurance there is because she pays so much.

Im paying $1400/yr with Nationwide on my 1320 as my daily. I shop around every year or so just like phone plans and cable

Premiums have a lot to do with location. If my policy was in the town down the road it would be at least $1k more.

Agree. When I first learned about it I cracked up.

It wouldn't save me any money, but most likely it'd result in me being banned from all insurance companies in the Western hemisphere.
It could work during the first 100 miles of the break-in period, though.

There are work-arounds.

When I took the HellCat up to the Dragon, I simply removed the beacon and left it in hotel room for that day. Same plan for taking any of them to the track.

As for local driving I drive normal enough that when I do hammer down it's not enough to lower my score.
