They see a 1 of 3 Hemi Cuda sell for 1.x million and think these will do the same in 40 years.

Not even the Porsche GT hard ons pay that much over sticker chasing those cars.

What pisses me off, my local dealer used to be good sized.
Mostly trucks
But I'm buddies with the GM. He got zilch for Hellcats and 1 scat pack.
Not even this Demon when he got one in 18 AND sold it for MSRP.

This dealer would sell 20 Demons at sticker if given the chance. No bullshit at all.
They even were going to match the Granger 9k off on TRXs when that first hit.

But we see who Stellantis wants to cater to. That's fine.

All the small dealerships will be gone very soon.

Feel like it would have been a good gesture to do something more for the Demon owners who did keep the cars and not flip them. The VIN thing is really cool and appreciated for sure but I think it would have been a good gesture to give first right of refusal on a allocation especially seeing the tactics going on for getting a car.. I understand that times change and COVID happened but it was pretty adamant and clear that the Demon would be the Halo car for this generation.

I do this cost accounting stuff for a living and people just don't understand that if you add something, you have to subtract what is already in there.

Was why I never understood when these cars 1st came out, a v6 was 20k a hemi was 30k and the srt was 40k. So you are paying twice as much as the v6 for the srt but what about the v6 you upgraded from had value also

Yeah I checked the hp locator before calling. I was told they wouldn’t know for sure if they get the allocations till Monday when the order banks open

what a shitshow this tuned into (allocation part, not the car, which kicks ass). It really is a sleazy biz. Deals made months ago just flat reversed today (even with a down payment and paperwork). Most dealers really do suck. Even steve white is now taking on ADM. never did that before today. Not all are complete trash though. I wont say anything about my situation this week but I think the idea of getting many eggs in as many baskets 6 months ago may still help me in the end. Lets see on 3/27 if that holds. I wont jinx anything until next week when/until an actual sold order is in dodge's system. Crazy days ahead. i don't think we have seen the peak insanity yet...definitely more to come...
