If you read Dodge's FAQ section of the Horsepower locator, they built in excuses back in October... They even put in political "instability" as a reason you might not get a car

I'm not sure they care, but they obviously wouldn't tell everyone that. They'd use one of the two dozen excuses in the link Butter provided "oh sorry we could only build 300 allocations".

It’d be interesting to know when production is done how many went to normal consumers and how many went to owners of dealerships, company execs, etc. 🤔

And one last money grab for dealers before they bend them over and royally f**k their business up as far as dodge sales go.

Evs in general are tanking rn, look at tesla price cutting 20-30% off, the mach e is damn near 70k new and used examples with less than a 1000 miles are in the high 50s and low 60s.

What do you guys think will happen with the hornet if it's not priced appropriately, new to the market + overpriced + low demand customer base = recipe for disaster.

Either way, it's the loyal Dodge customer that takes it in the shorts and can't get the car he so desperately wants!
Kinda makes me wonder how much longer Dodge will be a viable car company.

Dodge should of just said at Speed Week they are cancelling the Redeye, Super Stock, King Daytona, Black Ghost, drop the Durango Hellcat idea, and just made about 6,666 Demon 170's. I don't think anyone would complain at that idea and have people grab allocations online like they did with the 300c.

OK - the big ADM, for the Demons, that the customers had to pay, are upgrading the Dodge dealerships. I see, Dodge cares, just not about the customer.
