I got six drops on the green car back 2018. I was pissed.

I had that happen once, except maybe it was 50 drops or so. I was so embarrassed that when I got down to the race in Colorado Springs I found a car wash before I went to the event and made sure that nobody could tell I had been in sprinkles...

(It was so light that the road didn't even get wet, the drops evaporated as soon as they hit the hot pavement)


But it was enough that it broke my car's cherry and now I have to live with the fact that I can never say it's never seen rain...

One of my favorite roads got the chip seal (loose stone) treatment a few weeks ago. I always stay off them until traffic has packed and stabilized the stone. Well, today I went down it. Seemed fine.

About a mile down the road, I ran into crews applying oily tarish crap on it. No place to turn off or around. Just spent a couple hours cleaning it off.

Maybe so, but the rainwater is nice and clean and won't leave any spots when it dries.
That can't be said for our tap water, which makes it near impossible to wash a car without God's help.

Interesting you say that. I had run the nittos because they are great in the rain. I have been in heavy rain with no worries going down the highway

They paved a few roads around me that were beautiful then they did that on top of them. They say they last longer
