Wife is trying to figure out what color Wrangler/Gladiator she wants (her Cherokee lease is up in a couple months) and they did not have a couple colors on the dealer lot that she wanted to look at so when I got home from work I told her that I guess we can run up to the plant and look at the colors in person. So we took the SS and started out on our hour long casual cruise to go look at colors. We we're cruising down State Route 20 just out of town and here comes a white Mercedes with some exhaust mods. He pulls up next to me and starts revving his engine and pulls ahead, I ignore him for a while and this goes on for a couple miles.

He's a little ahead of me so I speed up to 70 and catch up slowly and I see he's slowing down, I pull up next to him and we're doing about 55 or so. I cruise next to him for a moment (wide open highway with no cars ahead for as far as I can see) I give it a little tap to let him know I'll play and he takes off so I let it eat and look down pretty quick and I see speedo reading 123 and increasing rapidly!! I look in my mirror and he's WAAAAY back there so I let off and after rolling down to 108 I start tapping the breaks before a cops surprises me from somewhere as they do tend to sit around the area. I slow back down to 5 over and just cruise along. After a short period he comes rolling by with his window down nodding his head in approval and just keeps on rolling

Bad thing is when he was gone, after but about five miles it happened again but with a truck this time Truck goes flying by with the throttle down and then slows down and does it again. I just kind of wave hi and ignore the nudging to race and go about my business. Finished the round trip with no other instances of harassment.

I have been asked twice in the last two weeks if my SS is real?? Guy at Advance Auto told me that there are a ton of cars around that are rebadged and have exhaust work done to sound performancey They just loud as shit! Really annoying!
I think this is part of the reason I seem to be getting tested a lot lately? Maybe the other drivers think I'm just a rebadged GT or Scat but as soon I as give it a jab they usually stand down. There is a guy in town with a Mustang that's been looking for me to race, saw him at the last car show standing by my car waiting for me to show up...whatever

Last month at Loring, I left the AirB&B heading for the AFB, and a black GRAND PRIX (I didn’t know there were any still running) came by the other way and did a U turn. I got to the stop sign, took a left and he followed, closely. It was 2 lanes, so after the left turn I was in the left lane, and he comes up in the right lane. I have to take a right turn in 1/4mi so I cut in front of him so he doesn’t block me from the right turn lane. He follows me out of town and does his chicken sh-t race attempt (I have my numbers and class painted on the windows). I’m on my way to do Land Speed Racing, I don’t need this crap! Where are cops then you need them! I had to do under the speed limit for 5 min before he went away. I call these guys “flies”. They are annoying and won’t go away soon enough.

That is the day I did 191!

Changed pulley belt. Went out to pick up dinner last night after a good pull through 3 gears lost most power, check engine light came on, went into limp mode. Car had less power than a Yugo. Thank god not far from my house. Able to find correct belt at parts store today. cleaned up running gear on front of engine while belts were off. Replace belt clear code. Test pilot car after. 74 degrees low humidity bout 300‘ elevation. Translation great Da. Surprised belt went @ 16,785 miles, oh well could always be worse things happen.

Have to admit that I haven't seen anyone measure the elevation in inches until now.
Not even people in Florida do that.

That is the issue with the green belts, they are stiffer then the black and they can snap. I only run the standard gates black belt. My Whipple even came with a black belt. I have never snapped a black belt even when we used to tighten them at 150 ft lbs so they wouldn't slip on n 8 rib blower fox body

Good heads up, and here I was looking for the green belt because that’s what it came with. Code it set off was P012B
Turbocharger boost control position sensor perform. LOL wish it was compound boost. Basically rotors not spinning and became obstruction probably not pulling enough vacuum with foot off pedal, and then when I stepped into it the 1 to 5 volt feed back on both sensors not changing proportional to expected output. Never noticed but all Three sensors have the same exact Mopar parts # right on all three. Also they say China on them. Would feel better if the said Bosh on them being they are some of the best in the game. Of Course .02

If you are talking about the map sensors there are actually 4 total and yes they say china on them

I put Nitto 555 R2’s on the Hellcat.

Be very careful in anything more than a light rain. They hydroplane very easily.
